October 2011: All things Halloween!

We decided to skip trick-or-treating this year. It would be ridiculous, since Owen is not eating candy and I surely did not want to be responsible for eating it. Instead, I decided to take him to as many pumpkin farms as possible and even a Baby's 1st Halloween party at the Madison Children's Museum.

First stop: Bengsten's Farm in Illinois with my mom and Terese.

Owen sitting in the BIG chair!

Loving the pumpkin pile.

The pumpkins were bigger than him.

I took Owen on the train. He was skeptical of the whole thing and pretty much ready for a nap.

Second stop: Schuster's Playtime Farm

Trying to get Owen's height. Cute photo, but not an accurate way to measure an infant.

Family self-potrait.

Checking out the row of pumpkins. Owen ultimately ended with 4 minis.

Third stop: Baby's First Halloween party.
My little puppy!

Fourth stop: Peck's Farm

Hay tractor.

Checking out the goats.

Scoping out the pumpkins.

Why do they insist I wear this costume?

Family photo time!

Finally, here is a shot of Owen in his Halloween jammies courtesy of Grandma Jeri. Thanks for the bib Auntie Lindsay, since Owen is a drool king.
